I contacted Jade through Ancestry while looking for my Birth Father. As an Adoptee, there was no information available regarding my biological Father.  I decided to do a DNA test through Ancestry as DNA matches were going to be my only hope of finding the truth.  After joining Ancestry, testing and obtaining DNA matches, I then came across a very informative Family Tree that Jade had done which included full certificates and photos. Jade’s research was very thorough. She then managed to determine what line I had come from in this Tree by comparing Cm’s and whittling down potential Fathers for me. Once I had the main information I needed, it was confirmed through our BDM office here in New Zealand. My half siblings were later found and further DNA tests confirmed that I was indeed from that line Jade had said. Jade & I have really connected, she is a very approachable and personable person, who is extremely passionate about Family history.  Jade understands the nature of sensitivity surrounding Adoptee’s and their situation. Jade's enthusiasm, encouragement and determination to get answers, shows how much she cares and has invested in helping others. Jade is meticulous in her record keeping and she has a thorough working knowledge of searching for evidence.  Jade is also not phased at contacting others for information which she does in a friendly and professional way.  I would absolutely recommend Jade to anyone wanting assistance in finding their family.

Jade contacted me after discovering a WW1 silk postcard at a car boot fair, and reading a brief message written on the back. Through these small clues, and keen detective work, she tracked me down and told me the story. The card was sent from my great-grandfather to my grandmother (who was born in 1904) and was a message of love sent from the trenches in around 1916.

I have no idea how it ended up at a car boot fair but I am enormously grateful to Jade for tracking me down, and am so impressed by her talent that I have asked her to explore my family’s past in more detail.

Jade contacted me in January 2020 to let me know she had found my Grandfathers WWI Silk Postcards written to my aunt whilst in France. Unbeknownst to me, the cards had ended up in an antique shop in Gloucestershire. Jade was holidaying there and had found me in 4 hours! Her and her husband Dan then delivered them to us over the boarder in Wales. We had a great afternoon and the postcards were reunited with my mother’s silk cards from her father. I am so pleased we have them back in the family where they belong.
